Many people in Germany copied the look of German footballers, which was, hard to believe, even bigger in Germany then than it’s now. My dad pretty much lived football, he was a goalie in 2nd Bundesliga at some point and had an offering from 1. FC Köln, he still watches pretty much every single game to this day :D anyway I’m sure that’s where he got his hairstyle from!
