I was about 10 at the time and wandering around the show by myself, being a dumb kid I didn’t have the foresight to ask someone to take a picture of us with my camera.

The uniqueness was that he actually showed up in costume. I don’t think there were too many actors showing up in full costume at meeting the fans events. The only other guy I can think of that did this was the “Lone Ranger” Clayton Moore.

I recall reading somewhere when they made the “new” Batman movie with Michael Keaton there was some legal thing which basically banned Adam West from wearing his Batman outfit ever again.

I never heard about that happening to West, but that absolutely happened to Clayton Moore when the Lone Ranger Movie came out.

Really? Yeah I definitely remember hearing that because I remember always thinking how sad that is. I sort of understand wanting to rebrand the whole batman franchise into something cooler and wanting to distance it from the rather camp tv show, but still a shame nonetheless.
