Yes, coffee used to be a really cheap item until they realized how dumb consumers are and they could charge alot more.

No it probably has more to do with global demand, the population is twice what it was then, it’s still the same few regions producing coffee beans though.

Cows can expand to a lot of different climates. Coffee plants cannot.
