I think it’s fair to blame society, to an extent, for our collective obsession with vanity and it’s unrealistic standards. That’s always been a thing. HOWEVER, I would now like to shift some of that blame onto the fucking Kardashians. Truly. They have caused, and currently do cause, so much god damn harm. The amount of 20 year olds getting shit done to their bodies and faces has really popped off in the last decade. I was watching reruns of Felicity the other day and was thinking about how not one character in that show had lip injections but they were all so attractive like…how did we get here? Oh…ok yes, the Kardashians. That’s how.
