"Owner and founder Cliff Mills draws from his West African roots and fuses them with Mexican classics like tacos, burritos and quesadillas. The popular truck, which for the five years has been parked outside 761 Elizabeth Avenue (near Weequahic Park), also touts savory stir frys, crunchy fried fish and shrimp baskets, rich crab cakes and vegan options."

Where are they located again? I have to go! Haven’t had them since before the pandemic. Very nice flavors.

Downtown is so empty still! There used to be food trucks :-(

Nah, they’ve all been gone since the pandemic. There used to be a steak escape in front of gateway.

I still observe slightly more food trucks and farmers markets during the summer months

It’s good but insanely overpriced, like most restaurants and even some food trucks here

"Picture it: a beautifully crisp quesadilla, but instead of the usual chicken-and-peppers filling, it’s stuffed with the most tender oxtail, buttery shrimp, melty cheese and smoky jollof rice (West African staple made with long-grain rice, tomatoes, onions, spices and vegetables).
This killer mash-up is one of the many globetrotting dishes offered by Afro Taco, a Newark-based food truck overflowing with Ghanaian and Mexican flavors."
