Because Waters pissed off the band. What we got was not worth wrecking Pink Floyd for.

I disagree. Its overall vibe is so blasé; boring even. The mediocre musicianship distracts from the pleasant sound of her voice. It's a mess. I'm appalled that anyone can hear this song and think it's good, much less deserving of a number 1 spot on any chart.

Cat Stevens - Tea for the Tillerman. Takes me back to being a kid. Life was a lot easier when you are 8 or 9.

More respect than he gets? What on earth are you talking about? He's a legend in music history. The fuck.

If you want heartfelt listen to the Wall. If you want heartfelt and skilled vocals listen to The Final Cut. If you want sheer over the top vocal gymnastics listen to Pros & Cons

Seamus is just a 12 bar blues that isn't very creative, but doesn't bother me at all. San Tropez, however, is the absolute worst song in the band's entire catalog...yes worse than A Spanish Piece and Absolutely Curtains. Corny lyrics, weird lounge jazz music...epic fail. Even Walk With Me Sidney is a better song

Nah. If you're going to buy a person a ticket to the show, you buy them 2 tickets. 9 times out of 10, they will invite you to take the second one. Conversely, just get them a pre-paid Visa or cash in the amount of the ticket with a note saying (Maybe you can use this to buy a ticket to X show), and then they can decide if that is something they would want to doon their own, or find someone else to go with.

I wonder if they had to pay royalties to Charles Manson for the sample.

That was the point. It was hidden several minutes after the album. It was never meant to be listened to as a part of the album proper. It's a B-side, just in the wrong location

Strangely these are my favorite songs on both albums, just because they break up the sameness of the rest of the albums
