Check out the Teskey Brothers. Formed around 2008, still playing and recording, and easily the best current blues band on earth.

Polish late 60s/70s band Breakout. One of their records is plainly titled "Blues", so that you wouldn't accidentally expect anything less or else. While sang in Polish, it's worth a listen! :)
