That song didn't become unbearable because it was overplayed. It started out unbearable for being awful. I still can't fathom why it gets so much radio air time.

At a certain point, you have to accept that there a lot of garbage people who like a lot of garbage and keep perpetuating it. People who actually like, love or obsess over cheesy pop or formulaic country are basically admitting that they have un-evolved brains that soak up propaganda
