What 60s song would be a hit if released today with a modern treatment?

Many people tend to overlook 60s songs because of the production limitations at the time or because they were sung and played in styles that suited the era. But which songs would be hits if they were released today and treated with modern production techniques and instruments? It's something I always think about when going through a 60s album - picking out songs that no one liked back then that people would love if released today, just updated for a modern era.

The problem with your question is that, unless they're over 60 years old, not many people will be able to name many unpopular 60s songs. I'm 45 years old and I love 60s music and I can think of many great 60s songs but cannot think of any that weren't liked.

Edit: just thought of one, how about People are Strange by The Doors

Probably none. Music today has to be a static rhythm with no key changes or real progression, in order to be a "hit".

I'd say, in a perfect world, if good music still made it in the top 40, some underrated 60's songs that could be hits, that weren't in their day:
