Where to get CD’s

I just came home from Walmart after returning 4 CD’s that were for 5 bucks each but all censored so I’m thinking abt shopping at music town. I only just started buying CD’s and idk if music town has good prices and offers so I’m askin yall where I should buy

I just order them directly from the bands website or from Bandcamp. ...shipping can suck sometimes, yet often enough you get a free digital version too.

If you’re referring to the Music Town in Klein, TX, they look legit. These sorts of stores are called “record stores” (they got that name in the pre-internet days when that was the only place you could get records, as in vinyl albums) and used to be more common. Prices will probably be higher than Walmart but they’ll have what you want or can order it for you, I’d recommend talking to the employees in there as they are often quite knowledgeable. Tell them you’re new to buying music and they’ll help you out

You could try WowHD's site.Buy one disc and see how you go.I've been using them for years and never had any issues.I'm in Australia and they don't actually charge for shipping but check if that's the case in US.Check reviews too if you can find any.It usually takes a few weeks if you can wait that long,some people can't.Their prices have increased a bit since Covid came along but what hasn't? No worries.I should have mentioned Discogs,someone else did I noticed.It's not too bad if you're really having trouble finding something you want.Pay close attention to the sellers ratings,go for the very highly rated ones with few if any negative reviews.It will pay in the long run.You in turn as a buyer will get reviewed as well by them,so if you do the right thing and pay promptly it should be smooth sailing.Keep an eye on the shipping costs too.Happy searching Mate.😉👍

Here’s part of the problem: where it’s best to buy is likely to be very regional. Nationwide chains of record stores aren’t really much of a thing anymore. Hell, my advice when it comes to my city will likely even need to include genres, because it’s mainly independent stores, and they specialize.

If you want the most for your money, take a day trip to Houston and hit Soundwaves, Cactus, Sound exchange and Half Price Books. Buy used and you can stock up quick. Cons - check the condition of the disk before buying and you're limited in selection to what they have at the time. Pros - really cheap and you can check out new groups you've never heard of for a low price.

If you want something specific - buy online. Plenty of places where you can buy used CDs cheap even after adding shipping and handling.
