Any genre! Contemporary music writing preferred.
I love to read good writers discussing music passionately and eloquently, and I love when music writing is insightful and makes me think about music in a new way or shows me a new perspective. Unfortunately, a lot of music writing out there either regurgitates labels' promotional material or simply lacks insight and provides nothing anyone couldn't provide for themselves by just listening to the music. So I put it to the people of /r/Music to suggest the best available music writers, the best articles about artists, albums, and songs, the best contemporary criticism and analysis, and the best music appreciation. Podcasts and youtubes are also acceptable, in a pinch.
