Music Artist's Name

Super random without a lot to go on but I'm really hoping you all can help.

There is this artist that has melodic, spacey kind of songs that make your mind just kind of zone out. I listened to his catelog one time a few months back and was surprised he had a lot of songs I knew.

This is a newer artist with most songs in the past decade. I've looked at top songs in recent years but haven't found him. His songs are known, play on pop radio and are used in shows/movies some but aren't such big hits that they show up on the top 40 of a year.

I'm confident I'd know the name of I saw it. I think he's more a DJ than singer and has a name that's not common. Like not a real name.

Throw out suggestions if anything comes to you. Hopefully the right one is named but if not, I guess maybe I'll discover a new artist I like from the suggestions.

Unfortunately not it. The person I'm searching for does have singing in the songs and they are actual hits with very catchy sounds/lyrics that people would know.

I did like Hiroshi first two songs though. Thank you for the recommendation.
