The total opposite of having a side piece is pining for someone else’s chick. “Jessie’s girl” would fit in the opposite category

Agreed. Heard it the other day and it kinda hit me how gross it is. I'd hate to be Jessie or his girl with someone like the song's persona in such close proximity.
