Is not paying for music for own use illegal

I want this piece of music for my own use and not sell or anything like that, but I have to pay for it. Is it illegal to for example screenshot it or take a picture then print it

if u mean use it like on a yt video or such then yes u need permission to use it as when u buy it to listen thats only for that and not reuse elsewhere

I think he is talking about sheet music, though his/her language skills are so poor it could be ambiguous.

Regardless, it would be illegal to to take a screen shot of sheet music and print it out for your own private use, but who would know if you did?
