Green Day’s American Idiot for Me. Was in high school and it was full of bangers. Boulevard of Broken Dreams a favorite.

Led Zeppelin 2 .... Awesome Album from start to finish . 1969 saw the release of the debut album from the mighty Zep also .... Just think how amazing that is 2 Zep albums in one year . Jimmy Page his sound on Zep 2 was absolutely amazing my favorite guitar player . The whole band simply amazing till the end in September of 1980. ✌🏼🤘🏼

Moenie and Kitchi by Gregory And The Hawk has always been my go to. Especially in a rainy day
Radiohead - The Bends
I guess it was their last “guitar album”
I’m not even a big Radiohead fan, but I think this album is such indie greatness. People always want to argue OK Computer is better, and it’s a great album as well, but The Bends is full of great singles and OK Computer is almost a bunch of different parts to a larger song, I guess?
I listen to tracks on The Bends all the time, learned to play most of its songs on guitar, and well..? I just think it’s swell
Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Red Hot Chili Peppers. First album with with Rick Rubin, front to back bangers, it still holds up. Give It Away is still one of the best songs of all time
Agreed. My only knock would be that I’m not a fan of drum solos on albums.
Moby Dick is a solid song great guitar work along with Bonzo.
The Who -- Who's Next
REM -- Reckoning
U2 -- Achtung Baby
Porcupine Tree -- Deadwing
Pink Floyd -- Animals
Led Zeppelin's untitled fourth album
Genesis -- A Trick of the Tail
These albums simply demand to be listened to as albums, and they reward the listener with a captivating experience from start to finish.
Remain in Light by Talking Heads
A brilliant album that shows off the incredible talents of some of my favorite musicians. I was already a huge fan of Brian Eno (801, Roxy Music, solo) and Adrian Belew (King Crimson), so adding Byrne's song writing and style was always going produce one of the great albums.
I got into this album later because it was obviously before my time, but it was pretty badass.
I'll have to give it a listen again. Ok Computer I remember.
Listened to a couple of these, but not Porcupine Tree. Listened to a couple of tracks, looking forward.
Definitely before my time too . But been listening to ZEP since I was 7 yrs old . So a little over 30 years .
Get yourself into a proper frame of mind. Then, let it flow over you.
