I’ve been out of the country music loop for a while and want to dive back in. What are some top songs for me in that time period?
I will listen to them as they come in.

I will listen to them as they come in.
Miranda Lambert, Kieth Urban, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Dolly Parton is still doing Jolene, Little Willies cover of Jolene, Maren Morris (My Church)I will add more as I think of some
Sturgill Simpson
Not sure if this is the kind of country you’re looking for, but I highly recommend checking out Colter Wall
Zack Bryan
Literally him and that’s about all you need to know about
Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price, Turnpike Troubadours, Nikki Lane, Orville Peck, Zach Bryan.
OP asked for county music.
Good list. Tyler Childers is a great add. Morgan Wade’s acoustic stuff is hard hitting.
Oh I forgot the only album released in that time that is “true country” is Chris Stapleton’s Traveller, my bad.
Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Tyler Childers
Lol troll 🧌
The Deslondes, Hoyle Brothers, David Quinn, Charley Crockett, Vincent Neil Emerson

I’m confused by the troll concept. How is answering OP’s question being a troll with downvotes?? Last time I looked at my Country Music playlist, all those artists fit the criteria.
Because you named the most generic, pop country music possible lol 😆 just a bunch of radio trash 🗑️ sorry 🤷♂️
That is a fair point. Do The Petersons (Bluegrass) fit into that category? We don’t get much in Australia, except covers of Jolene.

As someone who has been in and out of the country music scene, I’ll give some from particular artists that I’ve listened to despite being out of the loop.
-Florida Georgia Line: Confession, Smoke, Dig your Roots. -Luke Combs: Even though I’m leaving, 3 2 1 too many, beautiful crazy.
Also my favorite country song from that period is “You should be here” by Cole Swindel.
