Super happy with the look and feel of my newest keyboard.

Keychron K6 Pro MelGeek MG Ember keycaps Frankenswitches (description below) Bandaid mod Lubed switches Greased stabs Foam inside large keys

For the frankenswitches I used 67g Zealio V2 switches that I’d taken off of another keyboard since they felt too jarring on my fingers and were starting to cause pain. I replaced the stem of the Zealios with the Keychron K Pro brown stems that came with the keyboard, for a less aggressive feel, but keeping the greater spring weight. Additionally I added two 1/32” ID / 3/32” OD rubber rings to the center pole on the stems to dampen sound. I had reservations about using the housing of these boutique switches with budget brown stems, but I’m really happy with the result. Hopefully this is useful to anyone else looking to further customize their keyboarding experience.

Same! Wasn’t sure I’d like the shininess of them at first, but it has a bit of a retro vibe that’s really grown on me

Damn, I'm planning to get the K6 Pro with similar keycaps. Looks great!

Got it from Amazon: Perixx PERIPRO-303 1.34 Inches Trackball - Replacement Ball for M570, PERIMICE-517/520/717/720, and Other Compatible Trackball Mouse (Yellow) (18040) https://a.co/d/fkJTmxn

I also have a red and purple colors to swap out depending on which keyboard I’m using that day

Note that the ball in the pic is the yellow version. They offer a gold as well, but this one has a mustard color that matches really well with the keycaps.
