I put in Durock Ti tactile in mine and I love it. I didn't even lube. I left my number keys cheap stock reds but lubed with homemade lube and they work well. I'm going to replace the spring with a slow spring with more initial pressure needed to activate. I couldn't type on the cheap reds that came with the board. It felt like pressing on air. If i ever try better linear switched in the future I will use a slow spring with heavier onset.

Nice! You mentioned homemade lube, how did you make it? Or did I understand wrong?

homemade = I used cooking oil + tooth pick to apply.
(Not suggested by the pros here, but it has held up)
In the future, I will use real lube, but I wanted results that day!
Oddly, it improved those cheap stock reds so much.
Order diff switch type tactile/linear and then decide what you like the most. Unless you already know.

Thank you very much! Already ordered some gateron milky clears and I will try to lube them with your method.
