I just finished my first mechanical keyboard!

From the beginning I used some cheap keycaps and switches, and it wasn't easy to get out them. I even broke a couple switches, but overall I enjoyed the process. It's the quietest keyboard I've ever used in my life. The only downside at the moment is that the macro buttons are smaller, probably need to change them to something else. Also "backspace" button is very loud, but anyway the final result is great!

What's inside:

Keychron Q6 Barebone, stock.

Gazzew Boba U4S RGB.

ePBT 9009 Keycap Set.

Cool! The backspace button being loud is probably the stabilizer. If you are up for it, you can lube the stabilizer and put a bandaid under it where the stem hits the PCB to dampen the sound. Of course, if you do it to one stabilizer you should do it to all of them or else they will sound different from each other. Enjoy your build!

It's perfect and quieter than I expected, but will try to do some modifications for "backspace" and "enter" keys.
