The case is fine, but the keycaps really don't match at all. I'd go for a single color like white or something transparent to match the case better.

You can get pudding keycaps pretty cheap which might compliment the look more (try epomaker for a current sale).

Or go with jelly keycaps for a look like this

pudding keycap is a good idea, but the jelly keycap has no letters, I can't accept it.

You can get one that have engraved legends on them, at least on the side, but if pudding keycaps seem good to you, there's lots of fun options with those!

That's because it's all over the place. If you want those keycaps and the case, turn on white light.

Acrylic smokey is great in flexibility. It is like a ditto Pokémon. Think bout it, if you'd buy let's say a blue great wave of kanegawa set, you could match colour with blue on RGB or white as accent and it would fit. Red anime themed keycap set with orange led, it would fit. Etc etc.

You can be creative with that acrylic case for sure.

As for specifically RGB rainbow effects, they pair nicer with shine thru, the more the better. Maybe abs pudding keycaps?

The case is fine, the keycaps look bad.

Saw several comments about pudding keycaps. All of the ones I've seen have shinethrough on top for the text, bit are for north facing rgb. Anyone have recommendations for a South facing set?

Idk. It’s a nice set on a neutral color board. I think it really may be the rainbow rgb making it look so out of place here.

It does look good! Yea, new keycaps would look nice but I really think the issue is lighting. Get just some red lights going instead of the rainbow rgb and the aesthetic will be pulled together better

I customized it by myself. CNC Transparent case and keycap purchased from skyloong.

If you look for style over function, I recommend going for abs.

I prefer looks and hand feeling. the function doesn't matter.

Then ABS has way better shine thru but if you use them alot, they get glossy so going for glossy finish is usually better for ABS.

That being said for example hyperX white pudding keycaps have exeptional shinethru but the black once dont and they both are PBT. if you want to mix keycaps, do not go for hyperX.
