You have a point there. I think I got it in my mind that "sliders = audio" and knowing streamers have so many audio channels, having multiple made sense. But rotary encoders can do the same thing with a switch and are more functional outside of volume. I think I'm going to switch it to 3 rotary encoders and 1 slider that could be used for master volume. Thanks for the check!

but most importantly, sliders look cooler

Sliders work pretty darn good on my GoXLR…but, to be honest, they work well because they’re mechanized. The ones on the GoXLR Mini aren’t as nice to use.

You’re definitely not wrong!

That makes sense. They are just so damn expensive. I’ll eventually do a build with a motorized pot one day

You might have just inspired my next design lol
Also, I’ve never heard of Renoise. Is it a DAW or something else?

3 sliders is more than I could personally use.. I think I would prefer 2 sliders and 3 or more rotary for video and photo editing. But I would probably support this project as is.

Renoise is a music making program, it's a modern "Tracker" where the main input is all with a keyboard, often used to manipulate samples or soundchip (think old video game hardware). Trackers were one of the earliest forms of music making going back to the Amiga

Renoise, being a modern tracker has a lot of daw-like elements and a lot of complex features and changes but keeps the original idea in tact. It's a lot of fun
