Yeh heard good things but I can't get it. I thought blue tack would be similar

Thanks for the suggestion, I thought about this but don't want to fill it with permanent silicone. I can't find silicone sheets.

If you can't find sorbothane, try butyl rubber. Not as plyable, but great at dampening.
