I tried Cherry MX brown recently. They are NOT TACTILE! To put it into perspective. Regular chicklet low-rpofile keys in your run of the mill laptop like Lenovo Ideapad provide the tactile bump/threshold at least 3 time more pronounced compared to Cherry MX Brown switches! Hek! A membrane cheapo Logitech K120 non-low-profile full keyboard is probably a better investment for me than ANY mechanical keyboard based on Cherry MX Brown or any switches anywhere close in characteristics.
I was considering buying a mechanical keyboard because I value ergonomy and well-built items more and more. But damn, did I miss that bullet! I'm not buying anything without seeing a force chart of the switches suitable for comparison with cherry MX brown force chart.
