It probably learned about Box Jades from a thread heavily laced with sarcasm.

Box jades are technically linears with a clickbar. Maybe thats how it got confused.

But it's so confidently wrong!

It doesn't learn anything from a single thread in pre-training. This either happened because the data selection was bad or because humans fed it wrong information during the reinforcement learning period.

That reinforcement learning period isn't over though. OpenAI is collecting a metric fuckton of data through the public demo and they use a lot of it to improve the model, so you can give feedback and that will make it into the model very quickly.

It's kinda funny how ChatGPT's description for Clickez is not technically incorrect, but not entirely accurate either.

Clickiez technically is a tactile switch, but Zeal's own product description for them emphasizes that Clickiez are clicky switches?

Clickiez were announced in late 2021, so chatGPT is just bullshitting and got lucky with being right on most things.

Learned from the best of us

The bot still gets a lot of stuff wrong, this included. But to be fair, box jades are fairly quiet compared to the real clicky thing, like gat blues or Outemu greens.
