Thanks for the love! Yeah, I have a big ol dent in the housing around the prism, but it doesn’t affect performance at all. Even fell out of the trunk once on a family trip. I think it’s gonna go on for another generation or at least I hope!

This is why I love mechanical cameras. They take a beating and apart from the light meter, don't need any batteries either. You've got to try pretty hard to ruin a mechanical camera. This is why I love my Nikon FM2 and FM3a so much. I can rely on them. If my digital camera breaks, or I forget to charge them, I can always just put a roll of film on one of those two and be certain they will just work. I always have one or the other in the camera bag as standby. Usually the FM2, as the FM3a is starting to become a very valuable camera these days. I was shocked to see how much it's worth now.

Yeah I’ve definitely fallen in love and dived into another rabbit hole. I got lucky with a nice intro 35mm just gotta expand my kit of lenses. Already on the hunt for a good intro camera for medium format, but my wallet has had enough with my hobbies and interests. Happy shooting, friend!
