Turned out quite nice! You can try reverse coiling it too.
Is this your first 40%?

Thanks! Ah yeah I keep reading about reverse coiling, but I’m afraid to fuck it up
First 40 yeah, I haven’t gotten to use it yet though I’m out on leave

Had no clue keychron made a 40%. Looks pretty cool!
And the cable doesn’t have to look perfect. As long as you are happy with it

Damn I like this, keychron makes too many kbs I can't keep track...

I know, and with a knob! It’s via compatible too, I generally like these caps but I also feel like vileblooms would look sick. And true true, I’m definitely happy with it. If I did try to reverse coil it, are you supposed to reheat it??

So many kbs! My first mech was their original Kickstarter, they’ve come so far!

I honestly don’t have the answer for you on the coiled cable. I don’t trust myself enough for all of that haha.
I have to say, Vilebloom is a timeless set. Im just not a big fan of the taller profiles unfortunately. It would most definitely look good on your board though :)

It’s way easier than it looks! Did it in under an hour. And it’s suuuuch a nice set, so expensive though lmao

Yes, heat it again after reversing. The coil retains its shape memory during cooling after it's been heated and loosened up so make sure to let it completely cool down while coiled up on your rod. Some people like throwing it in the fridge or freezer for 20 mins to speed that up. You probably won't mess anything up, especially if it worked out fine the first time
