Whatvare the red bits around the thumb cluster?

bonus mouse buttons, so your regular thumb buttons don't need to layer switch when you mouse with the trackpoint.

Are those buttons something you can purchase seperately or are they a custom component of this kit?

underneath are regular mouse switches which are easy to buy, but the 3D-printed mouse button assembly is part of the kit.

This build is beautiful with the Chicago Steno caps. I'm printing up what I hope is the last row for mine too using your SCAD TP cutout mods.

And I had no idea idea that there is so much variety on the custom TP caps! It looks like you might have found the high quality solution for black and white caps.
