Should I do this? I've never built a keyboard and currently have cherry MX browns.
Maybe a good thing to do while I'm learning and switches are on sale? Will any of these bags be a better quality switch then I have now? Sorry for the noob question.

It's all preference TBH. But for starting out I would suggest you get a switch tester kit which comes with a variety of different types. You can then decide what type you actually like the most before buying.

While it is all preference, I enjoyed buying the mystery switches when I was starting out because you get to try something totally random and might find something that you love or find out more about what you hate. And it’s always a good deal. You might get something that you don’t want but even if you get the cheapest switches, you are not paying more then you would for them if you wanted them. I have received very expensive switches in the past. I considered the whole experience to be very worthwhile.
