I think the difference is most other people would either not have it at all or use that space for a picture of a family member or loved one. You also just misread their comment. They're saying its weird to put the flag on random items or in odd places like on a desk.

You can do what you want, but considering the conversation about having flags in random places seems to come up relatively often I'd say there is a fair number of people that think its weird.

I really like that gradient. Blank keys always look cool, but a gradient with blanks looks even better IMO.

[edit] Just zoomed in and noticed the ninja legends LOL. Still looks really cool though.

There's multiple of the 502, the cheapest, I think, is the wired Hero version at like $40. Can be had cheaper on eBay.

The more expensive wireless kind are at $150 ish

that mouse is the best value on the internet. was thinking about swapping the guts with the ones from my chroma DeathAdder to gain RGB but I like the white LED and the sensor is just as good

I agree. Plus this mice is at perfect size for my hands. I on the other hand don't know a good use of the LED. I am a bit distracted by it because I tend to make my room a bit dark to focus.

It's a very cheap twin monitor stand off amazon. Can't use one that clamps to the desk since it's a glass sit/stand desk from costco

I did a lot of research to arrive at a set of keycaps that would have the correct row profile for all the navigation keys on the right. Usually, 75% layouts things like the end key will be the wrong profile, R4 vs R2.

And I paid for everything with my own money and even told my wife what I was doing!

The constant use of the US flag must be a specific American thing, not sure I understand it (is this in a government office desk?) but in this context it really adds a pop of colour.
