Fucking NIMBYs at it again. They've already blocked a proposal for an affordable housing unit in Cape Elizabeth cause it it would detract from the "character" of the town.

Exactly. Yarmouth just allowed one of these buildings to be constructed on Main St. This is the list price for a single unit. They aren't intended for younger people. They're intended for well off people to get a place in Yarmouth. Maine absolutely does not care about affordable housing.
