Someone who uses your internet connection clearly does. Those ads don't come out of nowhere. I just disabled my adblocker and the ads I'm getting on their articles are for the Salvation Army and some shoe company. I'm certainly not getting adult ads.

They might use a VPN. Those IPs are shared.

Ad logic can also be pretty tangential.

I searched for a duck themed tie for a murder mystery dinner thing and I immediately started getting ads for hunting gear.

The very fact that they know there's a movie about that person (news to me) probably means they've searched her

Because lemme tell you, my phone can pick up on me mentioning one thing about Facebook and I get Facebook ads up the wazoo for weeks. Might be the same deal here.
