Biddeford City boxed in my car approximately 1.5 Hours After parking ban was lifted.

Biddeford parking ban was lifted at noon today (Monday). It was noon when I went downstairs to clean off car. I live in an apartment complex and landlord has a plow driver scheduled. Anyway noon church bells are ringing while I’m cleaning car to move to side street (so landlord’s plow driver can plow). I moved the car to the road and Started watching Two and a Half Men when I hear the blade drop. It’s a city front loader. I watch him skootch by my car thinking Okay I’ll Just Shovel That. A few minutes later I hear the front loader close to my car again and watched him plow a snow bank up to my car.

TLDR: I moved car out of apartment complex to street after Biddeford parking ban was lifted.

Yeah, this parking ban was farked. Someone on the city FB page said they were towing cars from the ball field about an hour after the ban was lifted.

So, either get towed or get plowed in. What a shit show.

City may have a set time on the ban but that doesn't mean the plow drivers have everything fully cleaned up. If you're in the way, you suffer the consequences.

Lol, I’m surprised people think plowing stops immediately when the snow ban is lifted.

Snow ban was lifted at 5 for me but it didn’t stop completely snowing until 7.

It's incredible that this isn't apparently common knowledge. It seems that many think a parking ban really means "plowing time" as opposed to "no parking on the street time."

After trying all day to move car; breaking ice, using my floor mats and not accomplishing anything besides burning my rubber (tires & floormats seriously a lot of smoke), Biddeford came back. I heard him, ran downstairs and flagged him. Was around 3-3:30 today (Tuesday). I explained my situation, the operator grinned (did he block me in lol) and immediately cleared me out.
As much as I complained yesterday and today because I was literally STUCK IN ICE!!..The City of Biddeford is the best in plowing ( minus the one who blocked me in). I mean look at Sanford and Portland.
Lived here most my life and I’m old. This is first time I complained about Biddeford. TLDR: Biddeford removed the snow bank that one of their employees put in front of my car yesterday. Thank You Biddeford!
