Hi all! I’ve had the pleasure of visiting your state just once, so I’m here to ask your help in sharing any photo references you may have from the Yarmouth area.

My friend’s mom’s husband passed earlier this year. He grew up in Yarmouth, and they stayed there every summer. I browsed her Facebook page but didn’t see any photos I could use.

What I’m looking for is landscapes or buildings that are specific to that area of Maine. You know, something she could look at and say, “Hey! I went there with my husband,” and hopefully would make her feel warm.

I know I can google image search, but without specific knowledge of the area, I’m afraid to select something totally random that doesn’t mean anything to the area.

Thank you!

Check out pictures of the Yarmouth Clam Festival, THE Yarmouth event of the summer which serves as a kind of reunion for any one who has ever lived here.

Sparhawk Mill with the river in the background could be a good option. Just google image searched it and there's a really pretty snowy picture you could work off of.
