I'm gonna ask the library to find this for me! Have you read Colin Woodard's Lobster Coast? Mostly focused on the coast, but very interesting to read.

I got the Gratwick book, Hidden History. The Battle of Machias is pretty entertaining. A bunch of hungry Irish Mainers doing some pirate stuff against the British. Neat
