Check out better help (I think it’s called). It’s a Telehealth company that contracts with people (and therapists). It was covered under my insurance and It was a big help during Covid lockdowns for me. (Of course if you can find something locally then you do you, but this was an alternative that worked for me)

I tried that during the lockdown...and they gave me an antivax COVID hoaxer. Longest 50 minutes of my life.

I’m sorry, I had a good experience and it’s unfortunate that others didnt

I'd probably leave Betterhelp as a last option tbh. They do sketchy stuff like adding random therapists who aren't even associated with them to their roster (which happened to mine). If you do go for it, at least try to find some kind of discount code from an influencer or something. ;)

To be fair to them though, I like that it has a text chat feature. Good if you have communication issues or shit internet that can't do zoom calls.

I’ve also had a great experience with BetterHelp. I got tired of the waitlists for local therapists. My husband signed up too and it’s been a really good thing in our lives. With a referral you get a free session, and there are some discounts available. My cost is $60wk so I think it’s a pretty fair deal and no wait.
