Anybody have an ice report for Gray/NG area? Specifically Crystal Lake, the Ranges, or Sabbathday.

If you need to ask then you ought to be safe and stay off.
Seeing as how theres still lots of open water where I'm at, I'd rather not drive an hour to find out there's no ice to fish on. You scupperhead
Haha Scupperhead, good one

I’m in Waldo county , only one pond is fishable so far (3”+”
Top secret
Dang I just moved here and wanna get into ice fishing
I was up that way 2 weeks ago. Hardly a skim on Sheepscot or St. George. St. George used to be amazing ice fishing for me but the last 5 years has been horrible. Lots of good fishing in your area, just a matter ice the ice.
Toddy Pond in Orrington is good as well and close enough drive for you.
Really? Haven't hit Sheepscot in awhile but family has a camp on St George and usually do pretty well there in the last couple years
Ice wasn't very thick on Range pond couple days ago. Crystal doesn't appear very frozen but didn't actually check it. I'd say the area isn't quite ready yet
I used to go every other Saturday or so and would have about 5-10 brookies by 10a. About 5 years ago I couldn't buy a single fish, tried it a half dozen times since with the same results. Tried open water fishing and caught more bass than I could shake a stick at.
Mind you, I'm only out there or anywhere else to catch trout and salmon.
Ahh gotcha I go after just about everything lol
I caught over 20 18”+ salmon there last year through the ice, biggest one at 25”. Many people consider it slow but it’s only a matter of location and time of day.
Levenseller Pond. It’s a put and take so impossible to spot burn it. Limit is 2 Brookies, bring a kid if you can.
Im jealous, it used to be my favorite place. I'll have to make the trip there again this year I guess

Hinkley in South Portland had skateable/fishable ice yesterday. I would think gray would be a bit further along. But would love for others to weigh in
