Eh really almost any place (cafe > bar > restaurant) in Bangor if you’re willing to do a bit of extra driving.

Ellsworth is more of a “get what you need and go home” type town

Good point. I can’t believe I didn’t consider just “driving farther” lol. I think I set arbitrary limits on myself since I don’t like driving far, but going to Bangor could be worth it.

Do you have a favorite cafe or bar in Bangor? I haven’t explored there much yet

Bagel Central if you like crowd noise while working

The Grind House is a bit quieter

Nest has a new location in Bangor too, nice newer city vibes

Artisan Coffee house is nice too and close to the parking garage

All locations are a quick 3 minute walk from the parking garage. Free for the first two hours and super cheap/easy ticketing system.

Disclaimer that I haven't tried it out myself but last time I was in Ellsworth, I saw there was a new coworking space on Water Street.

A little farther, but Bar Harbor has(had?) a co-working space called Anchor Space or something like that.

Bar harbor would also have a few spots if you’re interested. Choco latte is good but can be busy whereas Mt. desert bakery will be a bit quieter. I wouldn’t bother with bar harbor after April though.
