How are the games? I usually go to a few Mariners games a year but good seats are more difficult to find. I also like Lewiston so this could be a good option.

Ya know, it’s not too bad. It’s NAHL so it’s junior hockey, but they won 5-1 so it was exciting. And bonus, you don’t have to go into Portland!

Is either experience similar to the Pirates?
Does downvote mean no?

As far as the level of play goes, the Pirates played in the AHL, which is professional hockey a step below the NHL.
The Mariners play in the ECHL, which is the professional league a step below the AHL.
The Lewiston team plays in the NAHL, which is tier II junior hockey, similar to Junior A in Canada. So that's a step below the OHL/WHL/QMJHL (the league the Maniacs used to play in).
Lewiston will be younger players (16-21), but both leagues are probably pretty comparable skill wise, and they're both fun. It's hockey! Grab a beer and go cheer for our local teams!

Appreciate the info! But I'm thinking more atmosphere wise, like the foam pucks and tshirt cannons and having it just be a really fun overall experience to bring even non hockey fans to
