Hmmm.... 10 foot tall red stop sign with a bright yellow base is easy to miss ?? I'm going to need to head over there someday and verify this. LOL. If I hit that damn thing during my visit I will 100% post it here first.

It is if lines right up with your windshield pillar, it IS hard to see. Mix in the crazy scene of the Walmart entrance.
I get it though, I used to be in disbelief until it almost happened to me.

This is why I always park out in the farther areas of parking lots, to stay away from pedestrians. That is a good point about the pillars on the sides of windshields. They are much larger these days than they used to be even 20 years ago. In the summer, before entering a road, I always do a sort of head swinging movement both left and right so I can see around the pillars and make sure there isn't anyone coming from either direction.

Glad I'm not a 10 foot tall guy in a yellow raincoat hanging around when you are driving. Afraid after you ran me over on the wrong side of the road, you'd claim I was hidden by your windshield pillar.
