Please don’t do this. I have rented for so many years with neighbors who would regularly fill my apartment with weed smell. I don’t care if people smoke weed, but people need be more considerate about it. Think about it like smoking a cigarette. Step outside for a few minutes or find a non-invasive way to enjoy yourself like a vape.

I can’t. When I smoke, I get really chatty.

Well, there are two kinds of weed. The kind where all the "get high" aspects are sucked out of it so it's used medically, and the "natural" kind, so to speak.
Don't worry, smelling weed isn't bad for you. I've smelled so much weed over the years that I can distinguish between weed smell and skunk smell.

I’m not worried about health effects. It’s not a good smell. If they engineer weed that smells like cookies or pumpkin pie, then smoke all you want. Until then, please go outside or blow it out a window.

I don't think it's a good smell either, but when you smell it enough times, you get used to it and tolerate it more.

except it's cannabis and not a cigarette. Fact of the matter is pretty much every single human benefits from cannabis medically, even if its just mentally. Gotta get this idea out of your brain that everyone that smokes does it just to get high.

I’m not questioning intent. THC has been shown to very beneficial for many things. I find it can level out anxiety and help me sleep. It’s rude to force your neighbors’ homes to smell like it. When we live in close quarters, we have to be considerate of others.
