This is dirt road etiquette not hunters etiquette. It's about doing the polite thing. Could you blow by a hunting that's going after a partridge? Sure. Are you a dick for doing it? Yes. But I also believe in the "don't trust people" theory where I'm not going to trust every hunter not to throw lead at my car. Is it extremely unlikely? Yes, but it's something worth considering

Dirt road etiquette applies to the hunter too. "Share the road" goes both ways

It does. Which is why I specified if you see a hunter out of their vehicle after something. This makes it so the hunter was there first and began their activity and the polite thing to do is let the hunter do their thing then pass on by after
