Cool shot, I like the sky gradient. The telephone poles give a good sense of the scale too

Thanks! It was a crazy day. Was traveling up to Van Buren, and it got down to -25! It got so bad, that the road to Presque Isle was closed. So we had to take another route to I-95. At some points, over half the road was covered in 5ft high snowdrifts.

Not fun for driving in, but if you live up here, it's great looking out the window.

And the crunchy snow afterwards is awesome.

I can't say I miss Caribou, but I do have fond memories. I have no real reason to ever visit, but I'm planning to visit Maine in general for the 2024 solar eclipse, so maybe I'll end up in my old stomping grounds just for fun. I haven't been up there since 2008.

It's an odd thing to miss, but I miss that. Doesn't really happen in southern Maine. So closed in down here. You have to go to the ocean for openness.
