Good morning, I'm considering working at Tambrands in Auburn. I'm confused on the schedule, I know it's rotating shifts but how often? Do you have set days off? How many hours a week are Mandatory? Do they offer overtime?

Alright so I worked there for a year. Its hard to explain. I’ll do my best.. you get paid every two weeks and your work 80 hours in those 2 weeks. But one week you work 20 hours and the next week you work 60 hours. So the shifts go two days on, two days off, two nights on, two days off, three days on, two days off and then switched completely. Every shift block is an opposite shift. L

This sounds like a shift that designed to kill you. You’d be better off driving your car into a bridge pier.

Basically. I did it while I was pregnant and went back after the maternity leave. It was short lived, I look back and have no clue how I did it. In my exit interview I let them know their practices were like an abusive relationship, every time we said we couldn’t do it anymore they would offer us more money to stay and deal with it.

Lol. Made me chuckle.

But why dont you just call them and ask?

why would you post that here?

Or google it?

Lately there have been so many not just low effort, but just nonsensical irrelevant posts, the sub is hitting new lows daily

edit: Found this: Tambrands is not a bad place to work ! they have a lot of family time like going to the Ramada once a year movie times at the theater for Christmas with your family and also take time to put on an event at the water park and give a lot of their product from proctor and gamble free like paper towels , shampoo, and dish soap

and this: They’ve never done lay offs. That’s because so many people quit they don’t have to. They work you like a dog and you have to beg steal and barrow to get promoted

  1. I did call and no answer

  2. Because this sub is usually helpful, minus a few

  3. I did Google it and got a bunch of different answers

  4. I think if you really really really try you could become a MOD for this sub and really turn this thing around!

Begrudgingly helpful. It's the Maine way.

Try the Walmart distribution center too. They are always hiring.
