Old school as it sounds, around here you'll have better luck on Craigslist. That seems to be where the musicians around these parts do most of their networking for band members.

Bangor metal people seem cool. I suspect you can meet them at the occasional shows at Queen City Cinema. But I’m from Southern Maine so I don’t really know. Manic Abraxas and Holy Filth are good Bangor metal bands.

I played banjo at a party once and like 4 people asked me if I wanted to play out with them. So i think luck and networking in person at events plays a big part of it, but who knows. It’s harder in Maine than most places, I’m in friendship and so far away from everybody mostly.

I make dank beats that may or may not cause nausea.

I play guitar/bass. What’re some of your influences?

My playing is influenced primarily by popular 70’s drummers, but what I enjoy playing is indie, emo, punk, metal, math rock, and rock music. People like buddy Rich, mitch mitchell, ginger baker, keith moon, and John bonham had an impact on me for sure.

DM me if you’d like to set up time to jam sometime!
