i wish my french were better so i could try the french literature. however, i was able to get about 70% correct with english literature because i could tell that the AI would try to generate longer sentences or use more common language whereas the real authors would use sentence constructions that would seem grammatically confusing nowadays. it's an interesting tell because it seems like the AI is often on par with a modern student trying to replicate the older writing style but uses more modern language.

a side note is that i got the same passage twice in a row while doing the english literature test, so that may be a bug. i believe it was Jane Austen
