I think the problem is available data. I wish USA government would take action and release a labelled anonymized data for public.

The NIH has released and is continuing to augment the All of Us dataset initiative which will have tons of health data available for researchers to work with. Most data will never be completely publicly available due to privacy and HIPAA issues but still is a very valuable research asset that's being developed.
