Alternatively you can check the 4 and 2 star reviews. They're mostly by humans and genuine.

This is what I do. Occasionally I will check the 3 stars too, but I pay no attention to the 1's and 5's because they are all inevitably biased. I also like to look for ones with updates or where the person has had the item for longer than a few days because it helps you learn how well it holds up.

True. I still remember when I was shopping for a mousepad this dude literally had a review updated for like 3 years. Ngl one the best things I've ever read and one of the reasons I bought the product.

The one stars are from people complaining that the packaging was damaged. That's not the manufacturers fault.
