Which soap
Body wash I'm assuming
I wish more people understood this. If someone stinks because of a hygiene problem, they are usually going to visibly look unhygienic.
If they do not look unhygienic but are still super stinky, a simple "hey friend, I'm worried you might have a medical issue, there is an odor around you and I know you're clean. Maybe you should see a doctor?"
Do not use alcohol or vinegar on your skin if it’s they’re not in a formulation made for skin. You’ll do damage.
You don’t need to have folliculitis or any type of infection to experience persistent odor, any bacterial build-up will cause it. The ACV is working because it’s an acid, and it does kill the bacteria, but it’s too harsh to be used like this (if you’re outdoors in a pinch, you can even use antibacterial gel for the same effect). What you can use which is safe for your skin is AHA or BHA, products which are safe to use even on your face and made for this purpose, or even simpler, antibacterial soap, but may be some trial and error to find the one that works well enough. (But always patch test before using new products of course)
i pick/floss, brush, then rinse with dilute rubbing alcohol and a final rinse of hydrogen peroxide. no cavities!
A bar of antibacterial soap in the shower helps. Always wash the sensitive areas with it including your pits, behind the ears, and your feet and between the toes. Makes a world of a difference.
....apple cider vinegar is not a skin treatment and aside from the fact that it contains acetic acid, is hardly an antimicrobial. I can't imagine an actual physician recommending it.
If you're getting skin infections like folliculitis there's an over the counter product called hibiclens that is designed for this.
Antiperspirant is also a solution (vs deodorant). Combining a fresh smell to a stench doesn't always give good results...
Pit stains are also going to persist if only deodorant is used.
Playing devil's advocate here: please see a doctor and do not diagnose yourself based on something you read on the internet.
Had it my whole life until i waxed it last week. My wife loves it so much that i smell much better now
Yup if soap doesn't do the trick then use rubbing alcohol or the cleansing pads they have people wash themselves with before outpatient surgeries
Cool! How do you do the treatment ?
Trim away the hair.
I don't shave, but I trim my pubes to be super short and thin out my armpit hair. It makes a ton of difference with regards to smell.
I've found the opposite in regards to women. That whole shaved nonsense leads to a fishy odor. With hair, it's more of a musk scent if there is a scent.
You may have a bacterial infection but you PROBABLY need a stronger deodorant.

Ironically enough I was a bad alcoholic up until about a year ago, and we all know that makes an odor but even if I went two days without drinking my gf could still smell me. She said it had like a metallic smell. Oddly enough when I drink wasps or any types of bees would fly right up to me trying to land on me, I think it was due to smelling all the sugar coming out of my pores from the alcohol in sweat etc.. kinda crazy right? And I even shower daily and even after a shower my gf could still smell it… I’ve been clean almost a year now and never felt better.

Something I learned way later in life than I should have: leaving the lather on for 30 seconds to let the soap do its work helps considerably.
