Not if you’re scared of spilling food on them! Haha.

I mean or just get barefoot shoes. I swapped a while ago and I sure don’t miss the blisters…

Barefoot…. Shoes? You mean you don’t wear shoes?

Oh haha, just look up “barefoot shoes” or “minimalist shoes”

Never heard of them before now. Is there a brand you like most?

My family loves Vivo and Feelgrounds, but I have a pair of Lems leather boots which I love.

Thanks! I’ve been wanting to try some new footwear. I live in Hawaii, and I’m always wearing slippahs, but sometimes they’re not the best thing. Like if I’m camping at the beach, the ironwood tree spikey balls get stuck between the shoe and the foot.

Glad to help. I used to get horrible foot cramps, but after switching my feet feel great. You won’t regret it :)

Make sure you switch over gradually. For many, it can be very difficult to just go minimalist 100% right away.

I wear Merrell's and love them. Although word of warning the new trail glove 6 is a pretty unique tongue/laces system that makes it a very "hugging" fit around your arch and requires some adjustment to put on the first time. Version 5 is much closer to a standard shoe, just with no drop/cushion.

I have Merrell hiking shoes, that’s all I buy anymore, I think it’s called the MOAB 2. I do a lot of hiking, these shoes stay waterproof and last longer than most. I’m on my 3rd pair.

Google is completely useless, it shows various types of shoes like sneakers, sandals, some weird shoes with toes, something like a ballerina shoes. Can you provide links for the "barefoot shoes"?

Lems, Feelgrounds, Vivobarefoot, Xero shoes. All brands me or my family can personally vet. They’re a bit pricier than normal shoes, though. I’m sure there are budget brands out there.
