Can confirm, because I think Confucius was an ass whose only claim to fame is as a proto-structural functionalist and I blame him personally for the toxicity in cultural norms surrounding school, work and the family in East Asia today.

Exactly. And since I personally know Asian-Americans who adhere to his philosophies to form their ethics, and they are very enlightened, I admire him greatly.
